Martin accepting the "Ontario Global Traders Award" (northern region) for product export achievements
Martin Auger:  President and owner
Marty is the "brains behind the operation"...  the wizened guru...  the captain of the ship.  He started working for Ken Ebert as a welder in 1962, and bought the business in 1970.  Over the years Martin has worked at basically every position in the company, and everything Ebert Welding is today is directly because of his efforts.   Marty has his finger on the pulse of the business and he sets the general direction of the company.  Martin is also quite active in local municipal politics as reeve of Harris Township for the last 27 years.  Pastimes?...  reading Louis L'Amour westerns and watching the Ontario Legislative Channel.
staff_eva.jpg (37809 bytes) Eva Auger:  Vice-President & Office Manager
Eva started working at Ebert Welding in 1979 as a bearing and industrial supply clerk.  Her dedication and determination are such that she soon mastered this field, and even became know as "the Bearing Lady".  As the company grew she moved on to organize and manage the office and administration departments, which she still does today.  Eva loves spending time with her 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons, skiing, snowmobiling, ice-fishing, and taking on challenges or jobs that no one else will tackle.
staff_ian.jpg (39440 bytes) Ian Auger:  General Manager & groomer salesman
Ian remembers visiting job sites with his dad (Martin) as a wee lad, and for him Ebert Welding has always been part of family life.  He started at the shop part-time during high school, then after graduating he worked in the welding shop and on construction.  When the New Holland and Ford lines were taken on Ian jumped right in as parts clerk, then sales, and now he manages the farm and groomer divisions.  In his off-time Ian operates a recording studio and keeps busy with music.

Warren signed on with Ebert Welding in 1980.  As well as being the Ag Service Manager, Warren is a certified Canadian Welding Bureau welding instructor, crane operator, and transport driver.  He designs all of the custom fabricating jobs that Ebert Welding takes on, and can do just about any job in the shop.  He also coordinates the manufacturing of Sur-Trac groomers, and in the winter (when not ice-fishing) he is one of the traveling Sur-Trac groomer service technicians.    Warren is an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys...  make that "craves" hunting and fishing.  When he's not doing it, he's talking about it.

Mario Loranger:  Parts manager
Mario started in 1992 as a parts clerk.  Over the years he has received extensive training in the business of parts.  Mario is now Ebert Welding's parts manager.  Mario is part of some sort of strange family "link" to equipment parts departments...  his father is a John Deere parts manager, his uncle was a parts manager for Massey Ferguson, his cousin worked a parts counter for CaseIH...  you could say being a parts manager is "in his blood"!

Josée-Thibodeau Auger:  Shipper/Receiver
Josée joined the EW team in April 2007.  Well, actually she's been "behind the scenes" since 1989, when she married Ian.  Now when Ian talks about work at home, she knows exactly what's going on!  Josée previously worked in retail for 6 years selling women's clothing.  Quite the career change, but she is liking it and doing quite well.

Alain Breault:  Diagnostic & Repair technician
In 1985 Alain came to work at Ebert Welding as a farm mechanic.  To attain New Holland's "Service Excellence" dealership status, Alain frequently attends New Holland service courses and training seminars at various locations in the US, and is enrolled in an ongoing New Holland video training course which keeps him on top of new products & equipment as they are introduced.  Alain treats every repair as a challenge, and doesn't consider a machine "fixed" until the actual source of the failure has been found and addressed.  Alain is also a farmer himself, with a herd of beef cattle "on the side".

Denis troubleshooting electronics
Denis Gosselin:  Diagnostic & Repair technician
Denis joined EW in April 2007.  Denis grew up operating and repairing farm equipment, and recently completed a heavy equipment mechanic college course.  Enrolled in ongoing CaseIH and New Holland tech training, Denis is comfortable with computers & electronics and is rapidly mastering the newer equipment's electronic systems.

Leanne refusing to put her brother down...  and enjoying it!
Leanne Auger:  Administration
Leanne first started working at Ebert Welding in 1992 as a bookkeeper, but her youthful curiosity got the best of her and she left for a stint of worldly travel.  After satisfying her "curiosity of the world" (she backpacked around the globe between 1996 and 2000) she came to realize that no matter where she went, it was still not "home".  To the delight of Mom & Pop (Marty & Eva) she returned to Ebert Welding in 2001 and got back into the swing of things by learning about farming practices and farm equipment.  She is now back in the administrative side of the business.  Leanne's other interests include singing and photography.
